Manikanta Chodisetty

Manikanta Chodisetty is a Law Clerk at Somireddy Law Group PLLC. His core areas of practice include, Corporate & Employment Law, Contracts, and General Litigation. Manikanta holds a Masters Degree in International Law from Duke University School of Law, along with Masters in Business Management, Information Technology Management and Leadership. Prior to his work with Somireddy Law Group, Manikanta has worked with a wide ranging of organizations, including Governmental Agencies, Non-Profits, Think-Tanks and Corporate Law Firms, primarily working on assisting business restructure to the growing ESG norms and help navigate labour and employment law challenges.

Apart from his interest in Law, Manikanta is also dedicated to ensuring Social Justice for all, particularly for those who are generally underrepresented in the society. This is reflected in his work on Tribal rights in the State of Andhra Pradesh in India, his work with the LGBTQ community and his work with youth political awareness campaigns. He is also an amateur historian and research in Indian History and Art History, and has worked with various organizations, to help with identification and repatriation of stolen artifacts.
