Special Immigrant Juvenile Status & Unaccompanied Minors

The United States Congress enacted Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) legislation to protect abused, neglected, or abandoned children, and to create a special method for vulnerable minors to become lawful permanent residence. Our attorneys have helped over one hundred unaccompanied minors who have left difficult conditions in their home countries to settle in the United States. Our firm represents these minor children in immigration removal courts and assists their parent or guardian in state court proceedings.
